About Abyanna
Born and raised in the Salt Lake Valley, I started singing at an early age. I would record videos of myself sining, acting or dancing everywhere I could with my family and friends.
In junior high, I got a solo in my choir concert and loved every second of it even though it was a little terrifying. I also took a theatre class and didn't have the best time in it, so I said "I'm never doing theatre again." Boy, was I wrong. When I got to high school, they were having auditions for Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and my family encouraged me to audition. I got a callback and the rest is history!
Though it took me a while to finally get on stage, I have always loved the feeling of playing dress up and pretending to be in another world. I love it so much that one of my jobs is performing as Disney Princesses for parties and events! I'm so lucky that I get to see kids' faces light up when they see their favorite princess, I look forward to every party.
When I am not performing, you can find me with my dog, Pooka (named after Anastasia's puppy in the movie Anastasia), listening to Radiohead, rewatching comfort shows and movies, writing songs, drinking hot chocolate or baking chocolate chip cookies!
I am an upcoming graduate receiving my BFA in Acting/Musical Theatre and minor in Native American Studies! I am Navajo and I have loved learning more about my culture throughout my studies.
